We set up plastic containment and boarded up exterior openings at the end of each workday to keep the property secure. Our scope included removing stucco, walls and ceilings of drywall, flooring, the loft staircase, and windows while carefully preserving the existing baseboards, crown molding, and door trim. We also stripped roofing down to plywood and cut back the eaves flush. For the underground work, we sawcut and removed concrete, excavated for new drainage, and helped the plumbing crew excavate the water main route from the home to the meter. After window and door removal, the scope expanded to stucco, damaged decking, and rotted framing. The remaining rafters were retained for the rebuild.
We originally came out for window and door removal on this project. Once everything was opened up, we were called back to remove the stucco, cut out damaged sections of the deck, and remove any rotted framing.
